EQ as trainers
In the fields of Non-formal Education and Child Welfare, the EQ team members are at the 'top of their game' and a large part of the work we do with other organizations involves acting as trainers, instructors or specialist facilitators. We are accustomed to working across cultures supporting communication and promoting effective conceptualization.
We specialize in training in the soft skills, educational and therapeutic techniques used when working with children informally (eg outside of the classroom, doctor’s surgery or child protection setting).
We have worked with teachers, social workers, counselors, youth workers and other childcare professionals on the issues of social and educational disadvantage focusing on
- De-medicalization of learning difficulty
- Incisive intervention and speedy and effective rehabilitation
- Meaningful de-segregation
